Stewardship & Planned Giving
We read in the Bible of people giving to the work of the church and that is something which we as a church community seek to take seriously.
With running costs of around £80k per year, keeping this church running is an exciting challenge! This money is provided primarily by those who come, we have no help with this nationally.
It is possible to give regularly to the work of this church. We encourage tax-payers to ‘gift aid’ their contribution as at no cost to the giver the church can claim back money from the government. In 2007 that allowed us to claim an additional £12.5k at no expense to those who gave.
‘Giving & Mission’
We give 10% of our income away to seven mission focused organisations. We are supporting the work of the following organisations financially and prayerfully: Chichester Diocesan Family Support Work; Encounter; The Esuubi Trust; The Salvation Army’s social and rescue work; Church Mission Society; The United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel and Mission Aviation Fellowship.
