Our BIG DRAW event has been fantastic!

Over two mornings fifteen children a time came from Motcombe School to do some art with local artist Patricia Latham. Looking around the building the children took rubbings of different surfaces, looked out for different shapes and drew different objects. This was put into a big collage which gives the essence of the children's view of out site. WHAT FANTASTIC ART THEY PRODUCED - THANK YOU MOTCOMBE SCHOOL!

Saturday saw a community art morning with all ages coming in to try their hand at seeing how 'A line can take you anywhere.' This included a small exhibition by local artists.

On Sunday the Church community thought about 'God and Art' and how art can help us to express what we believe. The 'open church' continued on the Monday to show off the creative talent of our local community.

The purpose of the activity has been strengthen relationships between the church and wider community, to explore how art shapes our world and how we may use art in furthering the Church's mission.
